Ruby Developer (Liverpool)

Based in Liverpool city centre with 2 days a week in office, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Ruby developer to gain experience with in-demand expertise in high-performance, real-time system design.

This role is paying between £60k-£70k + pension and 10% bonus

THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Tech Lead and an established cross-functional team, you will be helping the company realise their modernisation plans and overcome unique challenges around real-time data processing, high throughput, low-latency systems that need to scale dramatically to handle traffic surges.

Amongst others, you will get to work on a major project to rebuild a new subscription engine, which is due to kick off later this year.

• Hours 35.5 hours per week, 9am – 5pm
• 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays
• 10% bonus

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong development background in Ruby on Rails
• Knowledge of standard CI/CD practices
• Solid understanding of and RESTful services
