Sales Manager – Aviation Software (SaaS)

We are working with a leading Aviation software business as they require an experienced Sales Manager to lead commercial strategy and revenue growth within the aviation software space. Candidates must have experience within Aviation Software

This is a player‐manager role for a hands‐on sales leader who can define go‐to‐market strategy while actively driving pipeline development and closing new business.

The role requires strong aviation domain expertise, a deep understanding of modern SaaS sales models, and hands‐on experience using sales technology and AI‐driven tooling to improve performance. You will work closely with customers across airlines, airports, MROs, and aviation service providers while coaching and leading a high‐performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute sales strategy and go‐to‐market plans for aviation software solutions
  • Personally lead and close strategic, complex enterprise sales opportunities
  • Build senior relationships across aviation customers and partners
  • Lead, coach, and develop a results‐driven sales team
  • Own pipeline, forecasting, revenue performance, and key sales KPIs
  • Leverage modern sales tech stacks, data, and AI tools to improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align market needs and delivery

Experience

  • 10+ years in enterprise software or SaaS sales, including senior leadership experience
  • Strong background in aviation software or aviation‐focused SaaS
  • Proven success operating as a player‐coach in complex sales environments
  • Experience selling cloud‐based SaaS solutions and managing enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong commercial, negotiation, and executive communication skills
  • Practical experience using CRM platforms, sales analytics, and AI‐enabled sales tools

Preferred

  • Network within airlines, airports, MROs, or aviation service providers
  • Experience scaling sales teams and commercial operations in a SaaS environment
