Job Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: Coventry (on site once per month for 2 day PI Planning meetings)
Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities:
- follow good industry practice and apply all such skills, knowledge and experience to the best of their ability to help client successfully achieve the goals and objectives of the project(s) directed towards; Support functional workshops and take minutes to record the outcomes of such workshops where required
- to be responsible for the development of key project requirements and design artefacts. This may include requirements documents (e.g. RTM, process documents), high level and detailed design documents, user stories, solutions overviews and functional specifications; Support training and handover to ensure that the new processes and procedures become fully integrated throughout
- to support the definition of the business analysis approach to the project, agreeing activities and quality standard
- to assess the fit of the proposed technical solution against the business need and assist in the documentation of detailed target functional design specifications
- to ensure any design documentation produced is clear, testable, demonstrates alignment to requirements and/or solution architecture designs and meet appropriate internal standards
- to work with other members of the design, development and test teams to define solutions that meet the agreed requirements whilst not compromising architectural strategy
- support Business activity: workshops, testing, training and handover to business teams to ensure that the new processes and procedures become fully integrated throughout Company
- work with Change function and any other relevant departments within Company, as identified by client during the term of the contract
- provide professional business analysis services within Client’s Change function for any additional projects as determined by client, during the term of the contract
- coach and support BAs assigned within their team, focussing on specific tasks or objectives to be defined by the assignment manager. The aim of the coaching agreement is for the BAs to be self-sufficient and will have acquired the experience and expertise from the contractor as demonstrated

- produce, update and maintain the deliverables set out below, in accordance with the agreed change methodology and using the appropriate templates, as identified by client during the term of the contract

- documentation setting out high level and detailed functional and non-functional requirements
- epic User Stories and User Stories (if agile delivery)
- documentation setting out current business processes
- documentation setting out proposed business processes
- a high level and detailed operational design
- documented Functional Specification
- a requirements traceability matrix
- a change log
- Risk experience (working with risk frameworks) would be beneficial but not mandatory
