Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow Lead Solution Architect to take ownership of designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise-level solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective deployment, optimisation, and ongoing improvement of the ServiceNow Service Management platform that supports both internal teams and external customers.

In this role, you will act as a technical leader—guiding architectural decisions, shaping best practices, and mentoring a high‐performing team to deliver exceptional IT Service Management outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, high‐quality solution designs.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Analyse the impact of new or changing requirements and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead the implementation, integration, automation, and enhancement of ITSM and ITOM toolsets.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team including BAs, administrators, developers, and solution architects.

Platform Governance & Strategy

  • Maintain a detailed view of the current architecture and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, plugins, and modules to enhance platform capability.
  • Contribute to process workshops and work closely with enterprise architecture teams.
  • Assist with migrating configuration and managing multiple ServiceNow instances.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Deep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules and platform capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience operating within large-scale enterprise environments with complex integrations.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver robust, scalable system architectures.
  • Technical proficiency across cloud services, enterprise software, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT).
  • ITIL certification.
  • Eligibility to gain SC clearance.

Desired Qualifications

  • ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
