T24 Developer

T24 Developer - SC Cleared 6 Month Contract Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite We are seeking a T24 Developer to join our high profile banking client on a contract basis. You will play a key role in configuring, customising, and supporting T24 Transact (R21+) with a strong emphasis on TPH, payments, clearing, and integration frameworks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with deep T24 product knowledge who enjoys solving complex challenges and working collaboratively in an agile environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, test, and integrate sprint backlog items to meet business and technical requirements.
• Produce high-quality functional and technical documentation (FSD/ISD), and support the creation of user stories.
• Participate in interface mapping discussions, including channels, and complete field mapping for IRD/IDD.
• Work closely with SMEs, product teams, and technical teams to clarify requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Review and understand existing L3 developments, COB processes, and system customisations.
• Support UAT, including defect triage, troubleshooting, and collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the Definition of Done, with updates recorded in Jira, Confluence, and component trackers.
• Maintain and troubleshoot non-live environments (COB runs, memory issues, code conflicts, etc.).

Requirements:

• Vast experience with Temenos T24, and some experience in TPH configuration.
• Hands-on experience with recent T24 Transact releases (R21+) and TAFC (highly preferred).
• Strong understanding of TPH modules, clearing frameworks, inward/outward payments, and interfaces (SWIFT, RTGS).
• Technical troubleshooting capability across IBM MQ, Integration Framework, TOCFEE, TAFC, and JBOSS.
• Solid knowledge of SWIFT and CHAPS payment flows and message types (PACS.004/008/009/010 and MT equivalents).
• StrongT24 domain expertise including:
  • TPH Configuration, Parameterisation, Product & Client Conditions
  • Routing & Settlement (LORO/NOSTRO/SSI)
  • Clearing, Payment Processing, Order Entry
  • FX.LIM.ORDER, DELIVERY, RD Module, Clearing Directory
• Ability to interpret complex bank requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Capability to support technical teams with issue resolution and design review.
• Experience with SWIFT annual standards upgrades and post-Go-Live support.

Desirable:

• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
• Understanding of SWIFT Alliance Gateway, IBM MQ, SAP or similar interfaces.
• Experience maintaining UAT/non-live environments.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams (vendors, testers, SMEs, developers).
