Technical Programme Manager- Cyber

We are currently recruiting for a Programme Manager cyber security experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Hybrid- 2 days a week onsite in Reigate

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with corporate security teams to interpret CAP programme requirements and tailor them to the ICT business context, creating a comprehensive set of tactical deliverables for ICT.
• Develop a delivery roadmap with resource requirements and risks identified.
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of the CAP in ICT, ensuring timely and effective implementation
• Manage day-to-day programme activities, prioritising workstreams and reporting progress to senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Corporate security, IT and Legal as required at a line of business and corporate level to ensure seamless delivery.
• Identify and resolve delivery risks and blockers, escalating where necessary.
• Ensure operational readiness and conduct post-implementation reviews.
• Lead project workstream workshops/meetings with assigned business teams, ensuring actions are agreed upon, responsibilities assigned, deadlines set, and remediation activity tracked through to completion.
• Provide reporting and tracking to sponsors and executive teams.

Experience

• Proven experience delivering complex technical programmes, ideally within financial services or insurance.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives into operational delivery.
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles, frameworks, and technologies.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in matrixed organisations and navigating corporate governance structures.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud architecture.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, matrixed organisation.
• Experience in operational and business readiness activities, including go-live and post-implementation preparation.
