Technical lead/Lead engineer

Job Title: Senior Python Developer/Dev Team Lead

Location: Stratford office, London, UK

Style: Hybrid, 2 days per week

Level: Leadership

Contract: 6 months

• Very strong Python knowledge, not just generic.
• Experience has to be up to date with the latest version and deep knowledge of Python principles.
• The candidates need to be able to answer in depth knowledge questions about Python - practical experience with the latest version is essential, but they need to have worked and understood it also from theoretical perspective (eg studies, building things from scratch and scaling them, increasing efficiency etc.)
• Experience with AI or LLM required - the last open Dev TL role will have more technical focus on these areas than the other ones.
• Lead level experience, not just senior - the candidates should have worked as hands on team or technical leaders with either helping the team or making technical level decisions affecting the systems they are working on.
