IT Analyst – Trading Floor Support

📍 Central London | Contract | Investment Banking Environment

A leading global investment banking organisation is looking to hire an experienced IT Analyst to join its London-based Corporate & Investment Banking IT Support team. This is a hands-on role supporting a fast-paced trading floor environment, working closely with front-office users and infrastructure teams across EMEA.

You will be responsible for day-to-day BAU support, maintaining local IT infrastructure, resolving proximity tickets, and ensuring high levels of service delivery to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality IT support within a trading floor environment
• Support network, telecoms, server, and desktop infrastructure
• Troubleshoot application and systems issues across front-office teams
• Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with internal processes
• Liaise with regional IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently

Ideal Background

• 6+ years’ experience in IT Support within financial services
• Strong exposure to trading floor or front-office environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft environments, scripting (e.g. PowerShell), and basic Unix administration
• Experience supporting telecoms/market telephony is advantageous
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills

This role requires someone proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a high-pressure trading environment.
