UI Developer

UI Developer - Outside IR35 - 12 month contract Lorien's leading Public Sector client is looking for a creative, skilled UI Developer to design user interface with functionality and aesthetics in mind. The UI Developer will work with other Developers to ensure that the user interface is optimised for multiple browsers and presented in an attractive way. Your primary task will be to design and implement user interfaces for maximum usability and performance. In addition to this, you must work well in a team as there are several individuals involved in the development process.

This role will require hybrid working in Edinburgh based offices. Responsibilities include

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine user needs and adapt programming accordingly.
  • Plan the layout of the user interface.
  • Produce front-end code and visual components to create a polished and highly functional user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design.
  • Ensure software operates ideally across a range of browsers and operating systems.
  • Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces to ensure all designs render correctly on all browsers and systems function properly across operating systems.
  • Solve any design or usability issues that arise and anticipate potential future problems so they can be resolved before they impact users.

Required experience -:

  • Minimum of two years working as a professional UI developer
  • Knowledge of .NET and case management system.
  • Awareness of multichannel UI development
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of key design principles.
