Location: Hybrid - One day per week in London
Contract Type: 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Rate: £20.00 per hour + holiday pay
Reports to: SEO and Content Lead

Role OverviewThe SEO Content Executive will play a key role in enhancing organic visibility by producing and optimising high-quality digital content. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal teams, agencies, and freelancers to drive SEO performance through best-in-class content creation, optimisation, and measurement.
This role requires a strong grounding in SEO principles, excellent writing skills, and a proactive approach to adapting strategies in line with search engine algorithm updates and trends.
Key Responsibilities- Lead SEO initiatives to improve rankings, traffic, and site visibility.
- Conduct keyword research and identify content opportunities across formats.
- Optimise site structure, metadata, and on-page elements to support SEO objectives.
- Track and report on performance using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools.
- Ensure content meets clinical, brand, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to implement the strategy.
- Write, edit, and publish SEO-optimised content across categories, products, and advice articles.
- Support link-building and outreach efforts in collaboration with SEO partners.
- Ensure consistency of tone and brand voice across all content.
- Identify and flag technical SEO issues to the relevant teams.
- Monitor industry trends and algorithm changes to inform content strategy.
Essential:
- 1-2+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results.
- Strong content writing and editing skills, with a relevant portfolio.
- Proficient in GA4, Search Console, SEMrush, ScreamingFrog, SEOMonitor, etc.
- Deep understanding of on-page SEO and keyword optimisation.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance data.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals (technical, content, and off-page).
Desirable:
- Experience with CMS platforms.
- Previous involvement in website migrations.
- Familiarity with digital PR or social media collaboration.
