E-Commerce Manager (Part-Time, 3 Days per Week)

Freelance Contract: £60,000 per annum (pro-rata for 3 days per week) I.e. £36k a year, £3k a month - 6 month contract.

As part of our next growth chapter, we are working closely with LoveMy Network, a collective of elite business and marketing experts who support SME brands in achieving rapid, sustainable growth. Together, we’re strengthening our digital strategy, e-commerce performance, and customer experience — and we’re looking for a talented E-Commerce Manager to help lead that charge.

The Role

We are seeking a commercially focused, analytical, and creative E-Commerce Manager to take ownership of Our Client’s online retail strategy and performance.

This is a pivotal role that bridges marketing, operations, and digital transformation — perfect for someone who combines an eye for brand storytelling with data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with the LoveMy Network consultants to optimise site performance, improve conversion rates, manage digital spend, and ensure a world-class customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

E-Commerce Management

• Oversee day-to-day operations of our client and related online marketplaces.

• Maintain site integrity — ensuring product information, photography, and categorisation are accurate and on brand.

• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams on launches, campaigns, and promotional activity.

• Continuously improve the customer journey and optimise UX based on data insights.

Commercial Strategy & Performance

• Monitor KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, AOV, and revenue growth; produce monthly performance reports.

• Implement strategies to improve site conversion and retention, including upsell and cross-sell mechanics.

• Manage and analyse paid advertising (Meta, Google Ads) in collaboration with marketing partners.

• Plan and execute seasonal promotions, aligning with stock levels and business targets.

Technical & Platform Management

• Act as key liaison with Shopify and integrated apps (Klaviyo, Yotpo, etc.), ensuring seamless functionality.

• Identify and lead digital improvement projects such as speed optimisation, automation, or plug-in updates.

• Work with external developers or agencies where required to deliver updates efficiently and within budget.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide the Social Media & Marketing Assistant, supporting consistent communication across all channels.

• Work closely with LoveMy Network consultants (Digital, Finance, and Strategy) to align KPIs and identify growth opportunities.

• Ensure brand consistency across every digital touchpoint — visual, tonal, and experiential.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• 5+ years’ experience managing e-commerce operations within fashion, retail, or consumer brands.

• Strong commercial understanding — confident in analysing sales, ROI, and performance data.

• Experience with Shopify (or similar platforms), Google Analytics, and Meta Ads Manager.

• Understanding of SEO, UX, and customer journey optimisation.

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.

Desirable:

• Experience managing small teams or mentoring junior marketers.

• Knowledge of inventory systems, international shipping, and logistics integration.

• Experience working part-time or fractional across multiple brands.

1. Boost Conversion & Revenue

• Increase website conversion rate by 15% and overall online revenue by 20% within the first 12 months, through UX improvements and data-led optimisation.

2. Strengthen Email & Retention Performance

• Improve customer repeat purchase rate by 10% and grow the email database by 25% through targeted segmentation and lifecycle campaigns within 9 months.

3. Enhance Operational Efficiency

• Implement at least three new digital tools or automations (apps, integrations, or workflows) that save time or reduce manual workload by 15% within 6 months.

Working Hours & Benefits

• 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday).

• Salary: £60,000 per annum (pro-rata for 3 days per week). - 6 month contract
