Senior Project Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Project Manager at Low6, you will play a critical leadership role in delivering complex, high-impact software initiatives across our new and exisiting product portfolio, operating in a highly client-facing, agency-style delivery environment. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will own multiple concurrent projects and initiatives, influence delivery strategy, and act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders internally and externally.

Embedded within one or more agile delivery pods, you will be responsible not only for end-to-end project delivery, but also for improving delivery standards, mentoring Project Managers, and shaping best practice across the Delivery function. This role requires strong technical fluency, exceptional stakeholder management, and the confidence to operate in a fast-pace, scale-up environment.

RESPONSIBILTIES

Project & Delivery Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple complex software projects or workstreams, from pre-sales and discovery through to launch and post-delivery reviews
• Own delivery strategy, project governance, and execution plans, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, client expectations and company KPIs.
• Partner with Commercial and Client teams during pre-sales to provide accurate scoping, estimation, risk assessment, and delivery input.
• Oversee and continuously refine project plans, resourcing models, budgets, timelines, dependencies, and risk registers.
• Use data-driven insights, forecasting techniques, and modern delivery tools to proactively manage delivery performance and predict risks.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Act as a senior point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and confidently managing expectations at all levels.
• Facilitate senior stakeholder forums, steering groups, and regular governance meetings.
• Provide clear, concise, and insightful reporting on delivery status, risks, mitigations, and outcomes.
• Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and confidently handle escalations when required.

Team Leadership & Process Improvement

• Lead, motivate, and align cross-functional teams across engineering, design, QA, insights and marketing.
• Mentor and coach Project Managers, supporting their development and helping to raise delivery capability across the team.
• Champion Agile and Lean delivery principles, adapting ways of working to suit project complexity and team maturity.
• Proactively identify complex project risks, lead reviews, create robust mitigation strategies, and implement action plans. Leverage data and AI insights to enhance risk identification and resolution.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuos improvement, and high delivery standards.

Risk, Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Proactively identify delivery, technical, and operational risks across projects, implementing robust mitigation strategies.
• Drive consistency and best practice in delivery framework, templates, and governance standards.
• Support the Chief Delivery Officer with capacity planning, delivery forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional experience in project or programme management, with significant experience delivering complex software or digital products.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or programmes concurrently in a fast-paced, agency-style environment where priorities shift quickly and client delivery is paramount.
• Strong technical understanding of software development, web technologies, and integration based or SDK-driven products.
• Proven experience delivering within a sports agency, digitial agency, iGaming, gamification, sports betting or similarly faced-past and client-facing environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior clients and internal leaders.
• Strong leadership presence, with ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across teams.
• Clear communication skills to guide project teams and coordinate across client stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, CSM).
• Experience mentoring or line-managing Project Managers.
• Strong data literacy with the ability to interpret delivery metrics and drive improvement.
• Experience using advanced project management or AI-assisted delivery tools.
