Role Overview

We’re seeking a talented Workday Functional Consultant (HCM) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced Workday professional with strong functional expertise in Core HCM and at least two of the following areas: Time & Absence, Talent & Performance, Compensation, or Recruitment.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality Workday HCM implementations and enhancements, working closely with clients to optimise their HR processes and maximise the value of their Workday investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support end-to-end implementations of Workday HCM solutions.
  • Gather, analyse, and document business requirements across Core HCM and related modules.
  • Configure and deploy Workday solutions across Core HCM and at least two specialist areas (Time & Absence, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Recruitment).
  • Partner with HR and business stakeholders to optimise processes and improve system adoption.
  • Design and deliver functional solutions aligned to best practices and client requirements.
  • Support testing cycles including unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
  • Provide training, guidance, and post-go-live support to clients.
  • Collaborate with integration and technical teams to ensure seamless data flows across systems.
  • Contribute to internal capability building and best practice development within the HCM team.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Workday HCM experience (partner or client-side).
  • Proven experience in Core HCM plus at least two of the following modules:
  • Time & Absence
  • Talent & Performance
  • Compensation
  • Recruitment
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data structures.
  • Experience in Workday configuration, including business process frameworks and security.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional system solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday HCM Certification(s) in Core HCM or relevant modules.
  • Exposure to broader Workday modules (e.g. Advance Comp, Learning, Payroll).
  • Knowledge of HR transformation programmes and system implementations.
  • Consulting/partner experience (highly desirable)
