DV Cleared - Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Platform Engineer

• Contract: 6 months
• IR35: Inside IR35
• Location: Hybrid - approximately 60% on site in Milton Keynes or London, with Milton Keynes the primary location
• Security Clearance: Due to the nature of the work, candidates will need to meet the required security-clearance criteria, ideally candidates will hold active DV Clearance.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support secure enterprise infrastructure across hybrid on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments. This is a six-month, inside-IR35 contract, working in a hybrid arrangement with approximately 60% on-site presence in Milton Keynes or London, primarily Milton Keynes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Azure infrastructure, Azure Arc and hybrid-cloud services.
• Deploy and support Azure Monitor Agent, Log Analytics and alerting.
• Deploy and maintain XDR/EDR agents across Windows and Linux Servers.
• Administer Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Troubleshoot networking, VPNs, Firewalls, proxies and Azure connectivity.
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell and Bash.
• Support Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
• Maintain security, compliance, documentation and operational standards.

Required experience

• Strong Azure, Windows Server and Linux administration experience.
• Hands-on Azure Arc and Azure Monitor Agent experience.
• Experience deploying XDR/EDR security agents.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills.
• PowerShell and Bash Scripting capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Relevant enterprise infrastructure or platform-engineering background.
