Field CTO
Field CTO - Nottingham/Reading/Remote
Here at Lucid we are recruiting for a Field CTO join our Customer within IT Services. This role based in Nottingham or Reading and reporting to the Services Innovation Director, this role acts as a strategic technology and services advisor to key customers. You will shape technology vision, service strategy and transformation roadmaps, providing architectural oversight, governance and innovation leadership aligned to OCTO value pillars. Working closely with CXOs and Line-of-Business leaders, you will build trusted relationships, lead discovery engagements and design executive workshops that drive alignment and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic customer discovery engagements
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders
- Design and facilitate executive workshops and briefings
- Define and communicate technology roadmaps and architectural direction
- Guide Operating Review Boards (ORBs) for strategic alignment
- Align internal capabilities and partner ecosystems to customer objectives
- Provide strategic input into major bids and complex opportunities
- Feed customer insight into standards, reference architectures and propositions
- Ensure long-term, sustainable value through effective technology and service design
Experience & Expertise
- Proven delivery of complex digital transformation programmes
- Multi-cloud modernisation experience
Architectural expertise across:
- Modern Workplace
- Hybrid Cloud
- Intelligent Networking
Strong understanding of:
- Integration and data architecture
- Observabilit
- AI and emerging technologies
- Strong consulting, advisory and stakeholder engagement capability
Qualifications (Desirable)
- Degree or equivalent technical experience
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification
- AWS, Azure or GCP certifications
