IT Schools Engineer

Location: Reading
Contract: 3 months
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Clearance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS (EDBS)

Lucid have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join out customer in Reading on an initial 3 month contract.

The successful candidate will provide helpdesk and hands-on technical support across the IT infrastructure, ensuring users receive a high level of service and that systems remain stable, secure, and efficient.

• Provide 1st and 2nd line support and troubleshooting across Microsoft environments (Windows, Active Directory, M365).

• Manage device rollouts and deployments using SCCM and Microsoft Intune.

• Maintain and configure networking infrastructure, including VLANs, Routers, and Switches.

• Support, repair, and maintain end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, and printers.

• Deliver an excellent on-site service experience, assisting users in resolving IT issues promptly.

• Ensure all hardware is safely installed and maintained in line with site requirements.
