Part Time IT Engineer
Here at Lucid we are currently seeking a part time IT Support Engineer (1 day per week) to join our customer based in Sheffield on an initial 3 month contract. This role is ideal for someone with experience in 1st and 2nd line support who thrives in solving IT problems and enjoys providing excellent technical assistance.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional 1st and 2nd line IT support to users onsite and remotely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Manage user requests and IT support tickets, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolutions.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and peripherals.
- Support the administration of user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Coordinate escalations with 3rd line or external support teams when necessary.
- Create and update IT documentation to support internal processes and procedures.
- Educate and empower staff by providing guidance on technical tools and resources.
