An opportunity has arisen working within Central Government for a Service Designer on an initial 3 month contract starting ASAP.

The Service Designer will engage with cross-functional teams to visualize and define new user journeys and service processes using service design methodologies as well as working on service design templates and maps throughout the product life cycle.

In additional you will continuously assess and optimize processes, support product approval and change management and define metrics and analyse data to present insights.

Whilst there is a mandate to be in office once per week my client is open to discussions around further flexibility where it is required.

Skills:

• Service design experience including workshops, prototyping and communicating complex processes clearly.
• Using research and data to inform design.
• Visualization tools.
• Cross-functional collaboration.
• Working in an agile environment on multiple products with limited resources.
• Service design coaching.
• Jira/Confluence
• Government Service Standard and Manual
