Job Title: AI Agentic Platform Architect

Day Rate: £650PD to £725PD
Summary:
We're supporting a global technology consultancy delivering a large scale transformation programme for a leading banking client. This is an initial 6 month contract with strong extension potential, where you'll lead the design and implementation of an AI Agentic engineering platform, enabling the migration of AWS serverless applications to Azure through AI driven software delivery.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience designing AI Agentic engineering platforms and developer tooling
- Deep expertise across AWS and Azure serverless technologies, including Lambda, Azure Functions, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB, Step Functions and Durable Functions
- Hands on experience with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, multi agent orchestration and AI assisted development workflows
- Proven background building CI/CD pipelines, platform engineering capabilities and automated quality guardrails
- Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex cloud migration programmes within enterprise environments
What You'll Bring:
- 8-10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years leading technical delivery teams
- Ability to design scalable engineering frameworks that enable AI agents to deliver reliable, production ready code
- Experience implementing architecture governance through automated testing, linting and dependency management
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate delivery progress, risks and engineering metrics
- Passion for driving AI enabled software engineering practices and mentoring teams on modern development workflows
