Location: London / Remote

Salary: Up to £140,000 - £180,000 Basic (+Bonus)

The Opportunity

Join a high-growth AI consultancy working within the financial services space. This is a senior leadership role for someone who can architect, lead delivery, and take ownership of building an AI engineering function.

You’ll own complex AI initiatives end-to-end, from scoping and design through to deployment, while mentoring engineers and shaping technical strategy across engagements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Architect and lead the delivery of Generative & Agentic AI systems, including LLM-powered tools, agents, and copilots.
• Define technical roadmaps and delivery plans in collaboration with clients and internal teams
• Own full-stack build: backend, APIs, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Guide engineering best practices across code quality, scalability, and deployment
• Act as a technical lead and client-facing advisor, translating business needs into AI solutions

What You’ll Bring

• 5–10 years of engineering experience, including several years in senior or lead roles in AI
• Proven track record in architecting and deploying AI systems (LLMs, agents, copilots, etc.)
• Deep Python expertise and fluency with modern AI tooling (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini, GPTs)
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders to shape and deliver solutions
• Bonus: startup experience or team leadership within financial services.
