Title: Senior Data Scientist (GenAI)

Location: London (Hybrid)

Salary: £90,000 (+Bonus)

Summary:

I’m working with a UK-leading SaaS firm that is looking for a Data Scientist (GenAI) to join their product division in Central London. This is a hybrid role focused on evaluating, experimenting, and designing new AI-driven features, sitting at the intersection of data science and AI engineering.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work with product and engineering teams to turn ideas into clear problem statements, experiments, and success metrics
• Design and run experiments on GenAI systems, including evaluation, error analysis, and performance benchmarking
• Build and iterate on GenAI solutions, from early prototypes through to production-ready components
• Communicate insights clearly, acting as a storyteller to explain results, trade-offs, and recommendations

What you should bring:

• Experience as a Data Scientist (or similar) with strong Python and applied ML knowledge
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and using experimentation to solve problems
• A forward-thinking mindset, bringing new ideas and approaches to the table
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge thinking and connect product, data, and engineering
