Context

As part of the strengthening of our clients e-trading technology platform, we are seeking an experienced eFX KDB Developer to join a high-performing team responsible for a complete eFX technology suite.

This includes market connectivity, pricing and trading tools, analytics, and reporting solutions supporting FX spot, forwards, and options.

You will join a small, agile team working in close proximity to the trading desk, in a demanding and stimulating low-latency environment with direct business interaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain KDB+/Q -based analytical and reporting solutions for the FX trading desk.
• Collaborate closely with Front Office teams to gather requirements and deliver user-focused analytics supporting pricing, trading algorithms, and P&L monitoring.
• Manipulate and analyze large, high-frequency datasets in real time.
• Contribute to system architecture, design, and infrastructure for the growing KDB+ footprint.
• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from specifications and design to testing and deployment.
• Provide technical expertise and third-line support for KDB+ production environments.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, estimation, delivery follow-up).

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Q/KDB+ development, including building and managing large data stacks.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and scripting (Bash).
• Good understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Front Office FX business and products (spot, forwards, options).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Altair Panopticon, Power BI, Tableau).
• Experience with Python and analytical libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
• Clear communication, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.

Education & Experience

• Masters degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science , Mathematics , Physics , or Engineering .
• Proven experience (38 years) working on KDB+/Q projects, ideally within a financial or trading environment.
