Business Development Manager sought for a successful international manufacturer of materials handling machinery.
To apply for the role, you need to demonstrate B2B sales experience, confident seeking new business and following up leads ideally in the materials handling/forklift sector, however other industries will be considered as training will be given.
The key focus will be on new business generation. You will identify and engage target prospects / customers across key sectors such as logistics, manufacturing and warehousing across the Midlands and South of the UK. You will be home based travelling to customers and the company s head office when needed.

The Business Development Manager Role in Brief:
Generating new business opportunities through outbound activity, market engagement, and strategic lead development
Identify and engage target customers across sectors such as logistics, manufacturing, and warehousing
Develop professional proposals and quotes
Work closely with the field sales team
8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday & 4pm Finish on Friday s
The Business Development Manager Required:
Previous experience in sales, confident seeking new business and following up leads in the materials handling/forklift sector.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
