Senior Credit Risk Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of Credit Risk Reporting Enhancements. This role is critical in enabling the client to reduce operational inefficiencies by streamlining the Credit Risk Reporting process. You will work at the intersection of risk technology, quantitative modelling, and business analysis, ensuring robust solutions for end‐of‐day and intraday credit risk monitoring.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of Credit Risk Enhancement initiatives from a risk technology perspective.
  • Perform detailed technical analysis and design of infrastructure updates related to Credit Risk.
  • Document detailed user requirements and validate pricing/simulation models using Markit FRA.
  • Map trade and market data items from trade systems to FraimWRX format.
  • Collaborate with business teams to define solutions for intraday/eod credit risk monitoring.
  • Partner with project management and risk system vendors to define delivery schedules and validate package updates.
  • Define appropriate testing methodologies and participate in UAT for new product development.
  • Ensure effective handover of new processes and controls into production.
  • Drive remediation of production issues and support operational stability.
  • Build strong working relationships across technology risk, risk analytics, market risk, credit risk management, and front office teams.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong background in credit risk reporting and implementing solutions for Interest Rate, FX, and Loan products.
  • Quantitative risk modelling knowledge: PFE, VaR, Expected Shortfall, CVA frameworks.
  • Hands‐on experience with vendor risk engines (FraimWRX, Murex, or similar).
  • Strong business analysis skills and project lifecycle knowledge.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and producing BRDs/functional specifications.
  • Proficiency in SQL, .NET, Excel VBA; exposure to Python or SAS; Power BI preferred.
  • Familiarity with Control‐M scheduling tools.
  • Ability to define and structure test plans, guide users through UAT, and validate outcomes.
  • Knowledge of investment banking and at least 5 years’ experience in credit risk domains.
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and ability to liaise with business/IT stakeholders.
  • Prior experience with FraimWRX and/or Murex.
