Senior Python Developer – eTrading & FIX Connectivity

DXC Luxoft is partnering with a major commodity trader to build out their eTrading capability. Our client plans to trade against a bespoke risk‐neutral model that identifies key risk factors within specific portfolios. We are seeking a Python specialist with expertise in eTrading and FIX connectivity to design and implement the systems and solutions needed to leverage this model and capture market opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Build and integrate systems to automate order execution within defined parameters.
• Develop integration applications including advanced order routing, position server, risk firewall, and interfaces with in‐house risk systems.
• Integrate with Trading Technologies FIX gateway and internal risk systems.
• Collaborate closely with trading and risk stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored technology solutions.
• Contribute to the development of a simple user interface for trading operations.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Python development.
• Proven experience in eTrading systems.
• Deep knowledge of FIX and FIXML protocols.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with C++ or Rust.
• Familiarity with Trading Technologies FIX gateway.

Language & Seniority:

• English: Advanced (C1).
• Senior level.
