Senior Data Engineer

What Youll Do: Build, test, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.

Design and optimise data warehouses, lakes, and cloud-native platforms .

Implement monitoring, security, and compliance frameworks in line with regulations (e.g., GDPR, financial standards).

Deliver high-quality datasets to analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

Work with modern technologies, including cloud platforms, orchestration tools, and streaming frameworks .

What Were Looking For: Strong SQL & Python skills.

Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Matillion, Talend, FiveTran, Azure Data Factory).

Experience designing and managing cloud data platforms (Snowflake essential; AWS/Azure/GCP desirable).

Solid data modelling knowledge and performance optimisation skills.

Awareness of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance .

Ability to work closely with technical and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Nice-to-Haves: Orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, Prefect) or streaming frameworks (Kafka, Kinesis).

CI/CD experience and DevOps practices for data workflows.

Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
