Are you a hands-on Development Engineer looking to make a real impact in the cleantech sector? Our client, a rapidly growing technology company based in Cambridge, is seeking a skilled engineer to lead development operations for their innovative decarbonisation technology.

What You'll Do:

• Lead operation and experimentation on cutting-edge development systems
• Drive prototyping and troubleshooting initiatives for next-generation technology
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system component specifications
• Contribute to HAZID and HAZOP processes
• Optimize equipment utilization across multiple development projects
• Maintain detailed records and data capture for analytics

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in process or development engineering
• Practical knowledge of gas process systems and mechanical equipment
• Familiarity with vacuum systems, compressors, pumps, and automated valves
• Basic understanding of PLC/HMI systems (training provided)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills

Ideal Background:

• Degree in engineering OR equivalent industry experience
• Experience with HVAC, building services, or similar process systems
• Involvement in technology development or process improvement projects
