Are you a hands-on Development Engineer looking to make a real impact in the cleantech sector? Our client, a rapidly growing technology company based in Cambridge, is seeking a skilled engineer to lead development operations for their innovative decarbonisation technology.
What You'll Do:
- Lead operation and experimentation on cutting-edge development systems
- Drive prototyping and troubleshooting initiatives for next-generation technology
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system component specifications
- Contribute to HAZID and HAZOP processes
- Optimize equipment utilization across multiple development projects
- Maintain detailed records and data capture for analytics
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in process or development engineering
- Practical knowledge of gas process systems and mechanical equipment
- Familiarity with vacuum systems, compressors, pumps, and automated valves
- Basic understanding of PLC/HMI systems (training provided)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Collaborative approach with excellent communication skills
Ideal Background:
- Degree in engineering OR equivalent industry experience
- Experience with HVAC, building services, or similar process systems
- Involvement in technology development or process improvement projects
