Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership and expertise across multi-disciplinary engineering projects. You will support the delivery of systems engineering activities throughout the full life cycle - from requirements capture and architecture definition through integration, verification, validation, and commissioning. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support systems engineering activities across all project phases.
• Capture, analyse, and manage stakeholder and system requirements with full traceability.
• Develop system architectures, functional models, and interface definitions.
• Coordinate integration across mechanical, electrical, control, and software disciplines.
• Define and implement verification and validation strategies to meet regulatory and client needs.
• Support safety case development, hazard analysis, and risk assessments.
• Manage technical deliverables from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Conduct technical and design reviews, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Contribute to bids, proposals, and cost/schedule estimates.
• Mentor junior engineers and support professional development initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of systems engineering processes and tools.

• Proven background in systems engineering, ideally in a regulated or safety-critical environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
