Software Validation Engineer

Software Validation Engineer My client is a defence and security manufacturer that designs, makes and integrates precision electro-optical and support equipment such as surveillance, target acquisition systems and rugged mounts for military and aerospace customers worldwide. They are looking to grow the team with a Software Validation Engineer.  Responsibilities

• - Develop, document and test developed/changed Code produced by the team
• - Maintain clear records of all work and work in accordance with departmental procedures.
• - Operate in line with the Company’s ISO 9001:2015 system.
• - Follow all Health and Safety requirements as laid down by statute or Company regulation.
• - Facilitate the internal audit process when required through the provision of necessary information.
• - Support customers both internally and externally with troubleshooting software system solutions

 Requirements

• - Experience with: C, C++, C# .NET. Labview
• - Experience of testing safety critical functions
• - Practical, hands-on experience helping design/develop/test and support
• - Full software lifecycle experience (documentation, design, development, testing, revision control systems and maintenance)
• - Structured design methodology
• - Experience working within small teams and with Agile principles

• - Hybrid role based in Kent
• - Salary up to £60,000
• - Company profit share
• - 9 day fortnight (every second Friday off)
