Our client’s central software capability is a core part of how they deliver innovative, high-impact solutions across a diverse range of industries. Projects span areas such as connected medical devices, desktop scientific tools, safety-critical systems, next-generation communications, low-latency industrial automation, advanced imaging, and large-scale IoT platforms.

This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Systems Architect. The role plays a key part across the full software lifecycle — from early-stage concept and system definition through to design, development, deployment, and ongoing support.

You will work closely with client R&D teams and external partners, providing a unique opportunity to develop both technical and commercial leadership skills in a client-facing setting.

Requirements:

• Designing complex software systems and working with stakeholders to prioritise requirements
• Developing system architectures and high-level product specifications for scalable, secure solutions
• Leading development teams, selecting technologies, and defining quality assurance processes
• A background in Embedded Software, Electro Mechanical Systems & Application development
• Project leadership experience

Desirable experience:

• Familiarity with requirements management and system modelling tools
• Commercial development experience in languages such as C/C++, C#, Python, .NET, or Java

Package:

• £100k - £120k base salary
• Profit related bonus
• 13% pension (10% employer 3% personal)
