Information Communication Technician Apprentice (ICT)
The ICT Apprentice will provide first-line IT support to colleagues while developing the technical knowledge, skills and behaviours required to become a competent IT professional.
You will have a keen interest in IT or already possess basic knowledge of IT systems, although experience is not essential.
Role
- Provide first-line IT support to colleagues
- Log, prioritise and resolve IT support requests
- Set up laptops, desktops, mobile devices and other IT equipment
- Install and configure approved software and applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and connectivity issues
- Set up and manage user accounts and system access
- Support IT activities for new starters, movers and leavers
- Assist with Microsoft 365 and other business systems
- Maintain accurate IT equipment and asset records
- Support basic network, Wi-Fi and connectivity issues
- Follow cyber security, data protection and IT policies
- Escalate more complex technical issues when required
- Keep users informed on the progress of their IT requests
- Maintain clear records of issues and solutions
- Support IT projects, upgrades and equipment rollouts
- Complete the required apprenticeship learning and development
- Build technical knowledge and take on greater responsibility as skills develop
Training
Training will take place on site and will be via an on-line platform. This will be for half a day per week.
On successful completion of the Apprenticeship, and for the right candidate, we would look to offer full time permanent employment.

The primary objective of M.A.D.E, which forms part of the Mahindra Global Design Network which includes the Mahindra India Design Studio in Mumbai, is to conceive and create all future Mahindra EVs and advanced vehicle design concepts. Along with this, we have successfully been responsible for overseeing the production of the BE6 with many more in the pipeline!
