Business Administrator apprentice
The role will be primarily office based at our Norwich auction house
Role
- Using a computer database and software,
- Talking to customers on the phone and in person,
- Editing photographs of the art and antiques that we sell,
- Data entry,
- Emailing and keeping the office organised.
- Although the role is mainly office based, it will include some other general auction house work, such as product photography and helping to organise the saleroom ahead of an auction.
- The apprentice will spend some time working with each member of staff to better understand the organisation as a whole.
Training
Training to take place 1 day per week on day release to Norwich City College, Ipswich Rd Norwich NR2 2LJ
There is a strong potential for employment after the apprenticeship. The ideal applicant will be able to be fully responsible for their administrative tasks and be looking to be able to help in other areas, such as photography or cataloguing, at the end of their apprenticeship.

- Working Week
- Monday to Friday 9am-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break. The applicant should be prepared to work the occasional Saturday auction day. This is usually one Saturday per month with a day in lieu during the week.
