We are hiring a Head of SEO with 5+ years of experience to drive the growth of MANUAL from an organic perspective. This role offers a significant opportunity to impact the growth of a leading health-tech startup in Europe.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to redefine our SEO strategy, establish the SEO engine within the company, and scale efforts globally. From day one, you'll have ownership and the chance to make a meaningful impact by increasing our share of organic search traffic and acquisitions across healthcare categories.
We seek someone with strong SEO expertise, determination, passion, and hunger. This hybrid role combines strategy and execution, requiring ownership and proactive effort.
This position reports to the Head of Growth and is based in London Bridge, with a hybrid work model (3 days in-office).
- Redefine and deliver the SEO strategy and roadmap for UK & BR markets, including on-page, off-page, content, and technical SEO, aligned with company goals.
- Develop and manage a content calendar targeting key search terms, coordinating content writers and ensuring medically accurate, engaging content.
- Implement best practices for on-page content management and user experience optimization.
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Manage an SEO budget to support strategy execution.
- Build and define the SEO engine and processes across the company, working with cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with branding and PR teams to create content that boosts visibility and domain authority.
- 5+ years of SEO experience, with a proven record in strategy development or leadership.
- Deep knowledge of SEO best practices, content SEO, and technical SEO.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with SEO tools.
- Ownership mindset with a focus on KPIs and results.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Creative eye for UX and content quality.
- Commercial awareness to measure impact against business metrics.
- Collaborative skills to work with diverse teams.

- Experience in healthcare/medical industry is a plus.
- Salary: £75k-£90k, depending on experience.
