Head of Supplier Relationship Management

We are seeking a Head of Supplier Relationship Management to support the development and delivery of strategic relationships with major technology suppliers, both in the UK and internationally. This role will play a key part in enabling effective collaboration between government and leading tech firms, helping to shape how the public sector engages with and invests in critical digital and technology services.

You will work closely with Supplier Relationship Management leads to ensure supplier strategies are effectively implemented, continuously improved, and aligned with wider government priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the supplier strategy for major and emerging technology partners, including development, launch, implementation, and ongoing iteration in collaboration with commercial colleagues.
• Work closely with senior officials, data and technology leaders across government to support strategic procurement and investment decisions in key technologies.
• Provide agile and responsive strategic support to cross-government initiatives as priorities evolve.
• Lead the planning and delivery of supplier-facing events that promote engagement, collaboration, and exploration of future opportunities aligned with government digital strategy.
• Partner with the Government Commercial Function and departmental stakeholders to ensure effective governance, risk management, and reporting against strategic priorities, including the Blueprint for Modern Digital Government.

You will be confident operating in a complex, fast-paced environment, with strong stakeholder management skills and experience working across senior government and industry partners. You will bring a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate policy and commercial strategy into effective delivery.
