MBDA are looking to appoint a Change Manger to support the implementation of SAP/4 HANA.  "IMPACT' is the name of MBDA's Group wide change programme to implement SAP/4 HANA, replacing a range of bespoke systems used today.

Salary: Circa £50,000depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

As part of a transformation project, we are looking to appoint a Change Manager who will work with the Group Procurement & Supply Chain teams, the IMPACT core team, the overall Systems Integrator and our partners to deliver SAP/4 Hana into MBDA.  Working with and managing key stakeholders both inside and outside the business will be key to delivering a successful solution. An ability to communicate a vision for the deployment and support the teams to learn how to maximise the new system will also be key deliverables.

  • Defining the Change roadmap

  • Ability to analyse and collate requirements

  • Ability to propose solutions for the Materials Management module in Sap/4 HANA on the business requirements

  • Ability to map, harmonise and standardise Procurement and Supply Chain processes

  • Rethinking the operating models of major business functions through process redesign, organisational structure revision

  • Support the analysis and implementation of change and process transformation strategies in the P&SC area

  • Coordinate the creation of the communication and training approach with the internal team affected

  • Monitoring the impact of change on organisational culture and identifying opportunities to strengthen team commitment

  • Involvement on the development and delivery of change and transformation strategies

  • Input to the design and implement harmonised/standardised processes

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and maximise the benefits of SAP/4 HANA within the function by working closely with colleagues to ensure high level of knowledge and understanding is achieved

  • Develop a clear and coherent communication strategy for all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that messages are clearly understood and shared throughout the transformation process.

  • Organise and run information or training sessions to make teams aware of the skills required for the changes ahead. If necessary, coordinate with the Learning and Development teams to create these training courses

  • Participating in the development of Change Champions / Change Ambassadors networks across MBDA

What we're looking for from you:

  • Experience in a Procurement & Supply Chain role

  • Must have experience with SAP products or S/4HANA – Materials Management module

  • Ability to present and articulate a point of view, improvement or working method.

  • Experience in a complex matrix multi-national organisation.

  • Able to speak French and/or Italian would be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, influence, persuasion and project management skills

  • Comfortable making decisions for change, where limited information may be available.

  • Proven track record of delivering value-added improvement / transformations in a Procurement setting.
