MBN have partnered with a leading consultancy in search of a Director of Applied AI. Focussing within Telecoms, Media & Technology

We’re looking for a senior Applied AI leader to drive growth and lead complex AI programmes across Telecoms, Media & Technology clients.

This role combines commercial leadership, AI strategy and executive client engagement. You’ll shape and close large transformation opportunities, build differentiated GenAI and AI offerings, and sponsor delivery across high-impact programmes.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead Applied AI growth strategy across priority TMT accounts

• Build and scale GenAI and advanced analytics offerings

• Advise C-suite stakeholders on AI-enabled transformation

• Oversee delivery governance, risk management and value realisation

• Champion Responsible AI, governance and regulatory readiness

• Develop and lead high-performing consulting and AI teams

We’re looking for:

• Proven success leading large AI consulting sales and transformations

• Deep understanding of GenAI, LLMs, RAG, MLOps and enterprise AI delivery

• Strong experience across Telecoms, Media or Technology sectors

• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments

Ideal background includes cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure or GCP), Responsible AI governance, and experience scaling AI capabilities within enterprise organisations.

International travel may be required depending on programme needs.
