Principal AI Architect – Contract (Home based, UK)

Rate: negotiable | Outside IR35 | 6 months initially

Home based with occasional client meetings

We’re hiring a Principal AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of agentic AI systems in financial services.

This fully remote UK role offers the chance to shape production-ready LLM-powered AI architectures, working closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver scalable AI solutions, including LLM integration, APIs, and agentic modules
• Architect secure, cloud-based AI systems (AWS/GCP preferred)
• Collaborate with teams to optimise AI/ML pipelines and deployment
• Translate complex AI architectures for clients and business leaders

What we’re looking for:

• Experience delivering agentic AI solutions in production
• Hands-on with LLMs, RAG pipelines, LangChain/LlamaIndex
• Cloud experience (AWS/GCP) in regulated environments
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
