Permanent: Up to £85,000 base + benefits
Contract: Up to £550 per day
We're looking for an experienced Technical Lead/Support Analyst to join a global financial services organisation and take ownership of its EMEA regulatory reporting technology .
This is a key role leading a greenfield MiFID Transaction Reporting re-engineering project , working closely with Business, Operations, Compliance and Technology teams to design and deliver a modern, scalable reporting platform.
What you'll be doing
Lead the MiFID Transaction Reporting re-engineering programme from design through delivery.
Own the technical direction and ensure solutions align with wider enterprise architecture.
Work closely with Business, Operations, Compliance, Front Office and IT stakeholders.
Assess regulatory and business changes and translate them into technology requirements.
Provide technical leadership, mentor junior team members and act as an L3 escalation point .
Drive data modelling, reporting and reconciliation across regulatory platforms.
What we're looking for
Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent – essential.
8+ years' experience across Capital Markets, regulatory reporting, post-trade or trading technology.
Strong hands-on MiFID / MiFIR Transaction Reporting experience.
Strong SQL and Python skills, with Linux/scripting experience.
Strong understanding of data modelling and reporting platforms .
Experience with Qlik, SmartBI, Crystal Reports or similar reporting technologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience leading technical projects or major platform change.
