ICT Service Manager

Location: Belfast / Agile Working
Salary: £43,024 - £48,596 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent MCS Group working exclusively with a leading local charity to recruit an experienced ICT Service Manager to join their team in Belfast. This is an exciting opportunity for an IT professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent service management and stakeholder skills, and who wants to use technology to make a genuine difference. As an ICT Service Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective delivery, management and development of the organisation's ICT services. Working closely with the Director of Finance and Senior Management Team , you will help shape and deliver the organisation's ICT strategy, ensuring technology supports Cedar's wider strategic objectives. You will also take the lead on digital projects across the organisation and act as the key point of contact for ICT matters. Key areas of responsibility will include:

• Managing and overseeing ICT service delivery across network, hardware, software and user support.
• Managing relationships with external ICT service providers and ensuring agreed service levels are achieved.
• Developing and supporting the organisation's ICT strategy.
• Providing guidance and training to staff on ICT best practice, cybersecurity and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Managing ICT risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are in place.
• Leading on the maintenance of Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
• Supporting ICT budget planning, cost management and funding opportunities for digital solutions.
• Acting as technical lead and providing project management expertise across relevant digital and ICT projects.
• Ensuring ICT policies and procedures align with Cedar's ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
• Monitoring mobile and network services and resolving issues effectively.
• Providing accurate ICT data and performance information to support organisational planning.
• Recruiting, managing and mentoring ICT students.

We are looking for an experienced ICT professional with a strong understanding of service management and the ability to operate confidently across both technical and strategic areas. You will ideally have:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, or an HNC/HND or comparable computer-related qualification with relevant experience, or at least three years' experience in a similar role.
• A minimum of two years' experience in ICT service management .
• Experience of user management, Microsoft 365 licensing and security, helpdesk and asset management, file and data management, including SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams , and software licence management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver against deadlines.

Experience of achieving and maintaining Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation, Office 365 certified training, desktop deployment and administration, data migration and supporting PC peripherals would be advantageous. Benefits: The benefits package includes:
