Product / UX Designer - Contract

MCS Group is looking for a talented and experienced Product/UX Designer to join our client's digital experience team on a contract basis. This Product/UX Designer will be contributing to the design of sophisticated, high-traffic digital products used across a global customer base. This is a hybrid role, with the Product/UX Designer working on-site in Belfast/Northern Ireland with the UX team 3 days per week. The Role Focus on UX and product design across a variety of digital touch-points. Facilitate and contribute to requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders. Translate business and user needs into clear, usable, and elegant design solutions. Create detailed user flows, journey maps, wireframes, and interaction specs. Work within and contribute to an evolving design system. Collaborate closely with visual designers, developers, business analysts, and content teams. Help drive an agile, user-centred design process, incorporating user research, feedback, and analytics. The Person Advanced Figma skills are essential - including prototyping, component libraries, and system design. You will have proven experience of UX/Product Design, working across micro frontends, and single page web apps. Proven experience designing for dense, data-rich interfaces. Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality UX and UI work across complex digital products - please include portfolio alongside your CV submission. Confident engaging with stakeholders and presenting design solutions with clarity and rationale. Comfortable working independently within a cross-functional team, across multiple time zones. Solid understanding of UX best practices, usability principles, and responsive design.
