Contract – Fixed Term Maternity Cover / working 40 hours per week 08.00 – 16.30

We are looking for an Exceptional Administrator who is proactive, methodical, confident, able to work on their own initiative and support multiple teams within our business on a fixed term contract.

About the Role:

The successful Administrator will be assertive, positive and flexible with the desire to be that person that everyone turns to for support!!

You will support the team in maintaining the smooth operation of the department; ensuring all administrative procedures are undertaken in accordance with department requirements and in a timely and accurate manner and helping to provide a service to clients that is efficient and effective.

Key for this is to be experienced in working with high volume and fast turnarounds maintaining an efficient and accurate approach.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the administration process of the office to ensure it operates in such a manner as to provide a maximum support

  • Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with clients and the wider team

  • Communicate with service users regarding ongoing work/s where required and liaison with colleagues to ensure accurate & timely information is provided

  • To provide support to the Manager with any additional administrative duties as and when required

  • Attend informal and formal conferences and training sessions as and when required.

Key Criteria:

  • Good level of verbal and written communication

  • IT literate – strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft packages

  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload to deadlines

  • Previous experience in Administration or customer service

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
