Looking to move into a genuinely commercial 1st Line Risk role where you can influence decision-making rather than simply report on it?

We're working with a well-established financial services organisation looking for an experienced Operational Risk professional to partner with its Technology function.

You'll work closely with leaders across Technology, Data, Cyber and Change, helping identify key risks, strengthen controls and embed effective risk management across the business.

The role

You'll act as a trusted adviser to the business, providing practical challenge and support across a broad range of operational risk activities, including:

✔ Facilitating Risk & Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs)

✔ Reviewing and enhancing control frameworks

✔ Maintaining risk registers and monitoring emerging risks

✔ Supporting technology and change initiatives from a risk perspective

✔ Challenging control design and effectiveness

✔ Building strong relationships with business stakeholders to embed a positive risk culture

About you

You'll ideally have:

• Operational Risk experience within Financial Services

• Strong knowledge of RCSA frameworks, controls and risk registers

• Experience working with or supporting Technology, Data, Cyber or Change functions

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills

• A pragmatic approach with the confidence to provide constructive challenge
