Production Operative
PCB Production Operative Required in Telford
MET Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business in Telford for a PCB Production Operative to join their Routing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or machine operating experience looking for a long-term role with the potential to become permanent.
Duties will include:
- Operating CNC routing machines to separate finished circuit boards from mother panels.
- Routing internal piece parts to create windows for bonding PCBs.
- Ensuring products are manufactured to required quality standards.
- Reading drawings & operating computers
- Following work instructions and production schedules.
- Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting any issues.
- Working closely with the Test and Inspection departments.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- CNC machine operating experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Computer Literate
- Good use of initiative
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to production targets.
- Reliable and flexible approach to shift work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Shifts and Salary
- Rotating 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday - Thursday & Friday is 6am - 10am & 10am - 2pm.
- 34 hour week!
- Monday to Friday
- Starting at £12.84
