Software Engineer Apprentice

The Software Engineer Apprentice will support the design, development, testing and implementation of software solutions used within immersive and synthetic training environments. Working as part of a multidisciplinary software team, the apprentice will contribute to a variety of projects.

Role

The successful candidate will complete the Software Engineer Apprenticeship delivered in partnership with the University of Chichester.

The programme combines academic learning with practical industry experience across a range of subjects including:

  • Programming and Software Development
  • Web Systems and User-Centric Design
  • IT Infrastructure
  • Cyber Security
  • Project Management
  • Data Analytics
  • Strategic Digital Technology Management
  • Live Industry Projects
  • Work-Based Learning and Capstone Project

Training

  • The training will take place at University of Chichester one day a week, they will be required to attend the workplace the remaining 4 days a week, learning new skills, and behaviours
  • Career Development opportunities will be available and career progression pathways
