Revenue Accountant

The Opportunity

Working for an international PE backed cybersecurity SaaS business with a remit across finance and revenue operations. As Revenue Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of their end to end revenue lifecycle. Working with Sales, Customer Success and RevOps supporting compliant revenue recognition, billing and sales to finance processes.

What you will be doing?

• Own the month end revenue recognition process including preparation of revenue journals
• Maintain recognised revenue schedules by customer ensuring compliance with ASC606/IFRS15 principles relevant to SaaS subscriptions and multi-year contracts
• Partner with RevOps to ensure alignment between Salesforce data, billing records, revenue schedules for accurate ARR/MRR reporting
• Review closed-won opportunities and bookings in Salesforce to validate accuracy of commercial terms, pricing and customer data
• Manage all billing processes including generation of invoices both contract renewals and new business
• Administer customer billing portals ensuring correct PO's and customer information
• Manage the monthly and quarterly sales commission cycle
• Support cross functional projects to drive efficiencies across deal desk and finance

What skills will you have?

• Experience within a SaaS or technology business
• Experience of revenue recognition and reviewing contracts
• Experience working with CRMs, Salesforce would be desirable
• Ability to partner with different departments
• Experience of billings

What is the work from home policy?

1-2 days per week in the office and rest from home
