IT Technician Prestigious School (Education MSP)

Location: Woking, Surrey

Salary: 27,000 - 28,000 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hrs/week (typically 10:0018:00 - Flexible)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing education-focused IT Managed Service Provider (MSP), working full-time onsite at one of the UKs most prestigious co-educational state boarding schools in Surrey.

Youll be part of a small, supportive onsite IT team, ensuring the schools IT systems are reliable, secure, and ready to support teaching and learning.

The IT Technician Role

Were seeking an enthusiastic IT Technician with 1-2+ years of experience to deliver first-class technical support across networking, hardware, software, and cloud systems. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a collaborative school environment that truly values innovation and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Windows Server environments, Active Directory & Group Policy
• Manage user accounts, network connectivity and Wi-Fi
• Build, configure, and deploy end-user devices (including MS Surface via Intune)
• Provide day-to-day IT & AV support to staff and students
• Maintain software images, antivirus, and OS updates
• Support Google Workspace for Education and Microsoft 365 environments

About You

• 12 years experience in an IT support role
• Knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and Active Directory
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
• Experience in an educational environment is a bonus
