THE ROLE IN SHORT:
Our Project Managers are responsible for onboarding and managing our biggest customers and most complex solutions. You will be the lead communicator with our customers for all projects you undertake and will be responsible for delivering excellent service and managing the full Deployment life cycle. You will be communicating with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis to deliver the desired project outcome quickly, efficiently, with minimal disruption and within tolerances. Through our customers our Project Managed Deployment team has enabled customers to implement their solutions on time and within budget to enable savings to be made by the fleet as quickly as possible.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING:
- Responsible for leading and managing MICHELIN Connected Fleet customer Projects including; implementations/pilots/migrations/adoptions/restructures.
- In particular this must be applied for MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s larger or more complex projects and supporting customer pilots of MICHELIN Connected Fleet products, to ensure highest possible conversion to order.
- Direct and manage deployment from beginning to end, by using the MCF Deployment Process and Prince2 methodology. This will incorporate defining project scope, goals, tolerances and deliverables within a timeline.
Project Management
- Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
- Work closely with the Sales team to carry out pre-planning activities, ensuring project viability and alignment prior to contract signature.
- Develop project plans and associated communications documents where necessary.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within any project team, including full risk analysis and issue logs.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones, deviations and deliverables against planned targets.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Provide ongoing highlight and checkpoint reports throughout project lifecycle including end stage and analysis reports, helping to show MICHELIN Connected Fleet’s benefits, Identify and signal potential follow-up opportunities.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage the configuration and setup of the customer's new website on Connect, ensuring parity with the hierarchy, users, drivers, alerts, reports and locations
- Work with the wider PM team to ensure consistent improvement of processes to maximise the efficiency of projects moving forwards
- Support the Pre-Sales and Sales teams as required with any larger-scale trials, tenders and Project Management proposals.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE:
- Knowledge of the overall Fleet Management Business
- Deep knowledge on the Fleet Management offers, solutions and its applications
- Dedicated and enthusiastic client facing individual with broad ranging experience in managing projects from the initial requirements-gathering phase to completion.
- Excellent communicator who receives positive feedback from supervisors and coworkers following exceptional ability to lead projects to fruition in a time-efficient manner.
- Proven ability to develop and implement detailed project plans to monitor and track project processes. Proficient in ensuring on-time deliverables by ensuring effective coordination of resources and manpower.
- Experienced at performing risk management activities to minimise project risks.
- Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner qualified - an advantage
