THE ROLE IN SHORT
We are seeking a motivated Salesforce Developer with one to three years of professional experience to join our growing UK team. In this role, you will contribute to MICHELIN Connected Fleet's Salesforce.com implementation, encompassing both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in Salesforce development who is eager to expand their expertise while driving innovative projects that support business transformation. You will collaborate within a multinational squad, working in an agile scrum environment to build and maintain a dedicated Salesforce instance. MICHELIN Connected Fleet is committed to continuously enhancing its Sales Cloud and Service Cloud platforms, creating systems that are intuitive, highly automated, and designed to empower our marketing, sales, and operations teams. We leverage the latest Salesforce innovations, with recent projects including Revenue Cloud integration, portal development using Lightning Web 2.0, and agentforce AI proof-of-concepts.
As MICHELIN Connected Fleet continues to invest in its enterprise architecture, you will also gain opportunities to work across multiple systems—particularly in developing integrations and supporting platforms that complement Salesforce.com.
WHAT WILL I BE DOING
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using an agile scrum development process
- Configure and customise Salesforce objects, flows, validation rules, and reports
- Collaborate with architect, Product Owner and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Apply Salesforce expertise to MICHELIN Connected Fleet and provide insights on how best to leverage Salesforce functionality for MICHELIN Connected Fleet's business needs
- Create relevant test classes, complete unit testing, and promote code to production through a defined, repeatable process
- Maintain code quality, documentation, and version control practices
- Support ongoing system enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs and middleware
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce developments and the broader ecosystem
- Maintain Salesforce certification credentials by successfully completing the release exams
TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL LIKELY HAVE...
- Minimum of one, and preferably up to three, years Salesforce development experience
- Strong knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and flows
- Experience working in an agile scrum environment including ceremonies, sprint planning and backlog refinement)
- Proficiency in Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, flows, reports, dashboards)
- Solid understanding of the Salesforce security model and data management best practices.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Bitbucket)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Willingness to learn and ability to flourish in a high growth, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
- Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business
- Knowledge of any of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Revenue Cloud
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft)
- Expertise in customer quotation and electronic signature development (including DocuSign) in Salesforce.com
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in Salesforce (e.g., Gearset)
- Ability to contribute effectively to solution architecture discussions
