Apprentice ICT Support Technician

Apprentice ICT Support technician, enjoys working for a small IT team. To provide technical support, maintain IT systems and networks, and help with assisting users with hardware and software problems. Good basic knowledge of Windows/MAC, MSOffice and basic networking.

Role

Your duties will include:

  • Answering 1st line support calls by telephone, you must be clear and articulate
  • Monitoring of Customer systems and Cloud based Services
  • IT recycling – Hands on disassembly of IT equipment ready for recycling
  • New Computer systems build and preparation
  • IT workshop repairs

Training

  • Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship Standard Level 3
  • Training will be delivered both in College and in the workplace
  • Potential position upon completion of the apprenticeship
