Velocity Academy has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Software Developer with 5S Technologies, a leading ERP and production control software provider based in Redditch. This is ideal for someone passionate about coding and tech to gain hands-on experience while working toward a recognised qualification.
Role
- Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of web or software applications
- Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and debug code
- Learn and apply programming best practices
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code under guidance
- Continuously learn and improve technical and soft skills through training and mentoring
Training
- Software Development Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation
- At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying
- The role offers long term security and the opportunity to progress into a permanent position
